The frontier of Northern Kalborea has been the battleground for seven wars of survival against the menace of the Horde. From the walls of Maenum to the Hel'garadian Lakes, the plains of Kalborea have been a killing ground upon which both Men and Hordim have faced catastrophe and death. Only now, one hundred years after the raising of the fortress of Maenum can the peoples of Kalborea know peace. Yet danger still lurks in the dark places of this world and no-one can foretell what the next morning's sunrise may bring.
