The Durn stretches from the foothills of the Coldarai Ranges in the west to the cragged stone-shores of the Coast of Skulls in the east. Here can be found nothing but grasslands and a complete absence of ground water. It is upon these open plains that many explorers have met their doom, dying of thirst in a sea of grass where no creek nor river flows. As with the Coldarai to the west, the Durn serves as a natural border to the Kalborean Union in the south and separates the Homelands of the NomDruse from any who might wish to distrurb their isolation.
