For a hundred generations the peoples of Adoracia lived in peace. Then from the northern wastes arose an Enemy, an unrelenting force of destruction that swept all before it. Without warning the peaceful nations of the world were consumed by warfare and one by one they fell in disarray. Before the power of the Enemy none could stand, and in those dying days of the Old World a fleet of ships set sail, fleeing the annihilation of their nations. Upon the open sea they must find a new home. Upon the pounding waves of the Grey Sea they are alone.
