 Welcome traveller. By design or misadventure you have found your way to the Book of Scars, a companion story to the Jotun of the West interactive gamebook series. The Book of Scars began as an appendix to the second book in this series, A Murder of Crows, and grew into a Tale of its own, one that can be found in its entirety here. Within these pages you will uncover the story of the True Witness, and find a faithful accounting of his journeys through the Underworld of Arborell.
It must be noted that this tale begins in the early history of the Oera'dim, some eight thousand years before the arrival of men on the shores of Dromannion. It is a time that still remembers the violence of the Great Insurrection and the overthrow of the Trell'sara. In this place and time there have been no wars against the realms of Men, and the Oera'dim maintain dominion of their world. I hope you enjoy the journey.
